The tomb of the Diver is an artefact of the funerary art of Magna Graecia of significant historical-artistic value, one of the very few examples of painting Greek non-vascular figurative. The image of the diver constitutes the internal decoration of the covering slab of a tomb found nearby Poor. The man in the act of diving into a stream probably symbolizes the passage from life to death.
