The Crotalia earrings in 925 silver with Lava Stone from Vesuvius, they are an elegant homage to the jewels of ancient Pompeii. The original earrings have been found in the villa of Oplontis and Stabia, and today they are kept in the Archaeological Museum of Naples. 

The ancient earrings Crotalia  they had the pendant made up of two or three pearls which produced a pleasant jingle when they collided with each other. This ttype of accessory was very common, as evidenced by a portrait of the Fayyum.

Historical Curiosities
