This Bracelet with Snake in relief is a reproduction Silver 925 of a snake body bracelet found in Pompeii.

This type of jewel was very widespread in the eraRoman for its apotropaic and religious value, being linked to deities who protect health. Land Roman women used to wear these accessories often in pairs both on the wrists and forearms.

The bracelet is rigid and stands out for its elegance which combines the strength of contemporary design with ancient symbolism. The snake, sculpted with precision, wraps around the wrist creating a suggestive and fascinating effect.

Historical Curiosities 

In ancient times, the snake was considered a symbol of regeneration, immortality and protection.  Pompeii the serpent represented fertility and sexuality. In Greco-Roman culture, it was associated with divinities such as Aesculapius, god of medicine, and Juno, protector of the home and women.
